During Covid-19, Tetris A/S has used IntraActive Learning to support the use of Teams in the home office. At the same time, the learning portal helps strengthen new employees' Office 365 competencies.
Tetris A/S is a property developer focusing on the development of sustainable concepts. The Tetris Group consists of two companies - Rasmus Friis A/S and Tetris A/S and employs around 70 people.
Three years ago, the group went live with Office365 - first implemented in Rasmus Friis A/S and the following year in Tetris. During and especially after the implementation, however, it became clear that there was a need for training in the programs in Office 365; partly because new employees demanded it, but also because the more the employees threw themselves into the various tools, the clearer it became that the learning had to be put into a system.
At Tetris, they tried different training offers, but no one agreed well with the company.
Support for the urgent home office
At the same time, the Corona epidemic gained momentum in Denmark, and all the group's employees were sent home. Cooperation had to be urgently established across the employees' home offices, and here Microsoft Teams became an indispensable solution.
Teams were already used at Rasmus Friis A/S for remote management of the construction sites, but it was not well established in the entire group. However, when all the employees were sent home, it became necessary for everyone to get started quickly.
To support training and education in the Office 365 package and in particular Teams, it made sense to try a learning portal, and since HR manager Pia Korneliusen already knew about ProActive through an online course, she chose IntraActive Learning.
IntraActive Learning gave all 70 employees the opportunity to become familiar with Teams while giving them free access to take the many other courses in the Microsoft 365 universe. For Pia Korneliusen, this was an important one for the choice of IntraActive Learning:

IntraActive Learning as part of the onboarding
Especially for new employees, Pia Korneliusen believes that IntraActive can add value. Therefore, in the spring, the company began sending all new employees a link to the learning portal as part of their start-up.
Here, the new employees can take courses in the various tools at their own pace and thereby learn new digital skills. In this way, the free time that is often found in the calendar as a new employee is used actively and efficiently.
My expectation is that all new employees will try out the programs through the learning portal. For example, we use Planner and OneNote a lot internally in the company, so if a new employee is hired without knowledge of these tools, it is a good investment for us that the courses on this are completed at the beginning of the employment Pia Korneliusen adds.
For now, the plan is to continue with the learning portal to see how popular it becomes. However, Pia also sees further potential in the learning platform in the event that the group has to use new tools in the future.
